Loadtec Engineered Systems Ltd, a leading provider of bulk fluid handling and access systems, today announced it has successfully acquired majority shares in In Control Projects; a loading and access equipment service, maintenance and repair company based in Basildon, Essex.

Alec Keeler, Managing Director of Loadtec Engineered Systems Ltd was delighted to make the announcement. “In the successful purchase of the majority of In Control shares by Loadtec, Loadtec will develop the In Control brand and presence in the market while also being able to offer enhanced customer partnerships through an in-house and specialist installation and maintenance team.

“We have already worked together as far afield as Russia, Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia, with great success.  In Control have also built some amazing systems for us in the last few years so the natural development of that is to join forces. In Control will continue to run as an independent company, able to service and support all loading arm and meter systems as they have done successfully in the past.”

The combination of the expertise and portfolio of both companies will mean that collectively, both companies will be able to offer one of the biggest range of products and services offered by any company working in the area of fluid transfer and loading arms for the aviation, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, fertilisers and food/beverage industries today.

Together with their rail, road and marine loading arms and access equipment service company, Loadtec Service Ltd, which was launched in June this year, the Loadtec group of companies look set to grow even further with the acquisition of In Control Projects now completed. By combining resources, Loadtec Engineered Systems Ltd, Loadtec Service Ltd and In Control Projects will enable clients to better manage the entire lifecycle of their loading arms and access equipment at the most competitive rates in the market today.
